Micklegate Residence - York

Stayed at a "cozy" flat with a "wonderful" view of a construction site. Centrally located, I could easily walk to the train station and a cafe that somehow sells more tea than water.

I had the pleasure of experiencing a heating system that loves surprising me with its unique timing. Chilly mornings and midnight heat, what a delightful combination!

I had a great stay, with location in a quiet area.

The location of the residence was excellent - within walking distance to most attractions and shops. It was also conveniently close to grocery stores. The apartment had a lot of character and was decorated with Christmas ornaments, which was a nice surprise. The welcome box with local treats was a lovely touch, and the beds were comfortable. The communication with the hosts was quick and they were able to answer all our questions.

While the apartment had its charm, there were some areas that needed improvement. The ensuite door and wardrobe doors did not close properly, which was inconvenient.

This place is situated in an unbeatable location, close to everything you'd want to see. The host was really friendly and made us feel right at home. They showed us the property and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. 🌟

Spacious, clean, comfortable apartment in a great location. Easy to explore attractions by foot from a nearby train station. Well-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and lovely bedrooms. No street noise and a pleasant surprise with Christmas decorations.

Cozy and spacious room, with TVs in the bedrooms that we could use whenever we wanted. The room also had an electric kettle, a dishwasher, and fridges available, so if you feel like cooking, you're all set! 🍳

Great location! It's in a peaceful area, super close to The York Dungeon. Plus, it's near all the attractions and landmarks, so you can easily get to everything you want to see and do! 😊

our stay at micklegate residence was even better than our previous trip to york. the flat was beautifully presented, with a huge sitting room and lovely bedrooms. the location was fantastic, walking distance from all the main attractions. the kitchen facilities were excellent and having 2 bathrooms was a nice bonus.

heating timing was strange

The 2-bedroom apartment at Micklegate Residence was absolutely fantastic! The living room had a flat-screen TV, perfect for chilling after a long day of exploring. The fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and oven was a dream for someone like me who loves to cook on a budget. And having 2 bathrooms with showers was such a luxury, especially when traveling with friends.

Honestly, I can't think of anything to complain about at Micklegate Residence. It was a great place to stay!

The location was perfect, with all the main attractions just a short walk away. The apartment itself was beautifully presented, with a huge sitting room and dining room, made me feel right at home. The bedrooms were lovely and quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The kitchen facilities were great, and having two bathrooms was definitely a plus. I must also mention the thoughtful welcome box filled with local treats which added a special touch to my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of the city.

The location was ideal, with great restaurants and bars nearby, and we were able to walk to all the main attractions without needing a taxi.
